Check Inbox, Spam, Junk, Promotions, and Social folders for legitimate security emails.

Step 4

If you received an "Email address changed" notification, use the Secure my account option in your previous email inbox.

Select Can't reset your password? or Need more help? and provide a secure contact email that only you can access.

Step 6

Identity Verification

If the account contains photos of you, Instagram may request an official Video Selfie Verification (never send this to anyone else).

Open the Instagram app and enter the Username and Password of the disabled account to log in.

When you see the "Your account has been disabled" notice, select Appeal, Request Review, or Disagree with Decision.

YouTube provides termination details in the account email and YouTube Studio. Creators generally have up to 1 year from the termination date to submit an appeal (appeal attempts are limited).

If your channel only has a strike and is not terminated, do not submit a termination appeal. Community Guidelines strikes can generally be appealed within 6 months, while content removals can be appealed within 1 year.
